Game FAQ
How many people can play this game?
2-6 players is recommended for the rules as designed. If you make up house rules for larger parties, have fun and tell us what chaos you have created.
What age is it for?
The game is appropriate for all ages, but we've found ages 7+ to have the easiest time playing. You can always read our instruction manual to see if your kids would enjoy the game!
What comes with the game?
Each copy of Bugsnax: The Card Game includes an instruction manual, 6 base decks, and 10 advanced decks. Cards are standard poker size (2.5"x3.5") and printed with a matte finish.

In short: you are trying to reach 6 points by eating Bugsnax. You capture Bugsnax with a combination of Trap and Grumpus cards. Each Grumpus has their own gameplay style, so there are many ways to reach victory!
Do I need to finish Bugsnax the video game to play this game?
No! The card game requires no prior knowledge of the video game to enjoy.
Shipping FAQ
I have an issue with my order. How do I get help?
If something happens to your shipment or you need customer service support, our warehouse will handle all of that directly. We will direct you to their Customer Service contact form.
Do you ship to [country]?
We ship internationally with a few (hopefully temporary) exceptions. UK orders are currently paused while we wait for our VAT application to be processed, and EU orders are being accepted until December 12, after which new GPSR regulations go into effect and orders will be indefinitely paused for EU customers,
All other international orders will be shipped DDU, so please account for potential duties and fees upon arrival.
Shipping is expensive! Are there other options?
Yes. We're all too aware of shipping being expensive, so we've made the files for the game available for $5 on itch.io. You are welcome to purchase the files and get them printed at a local printer to skip shipping entirely.
How long will it take for orders to ship?
Orders are received at 8AM Eastern, processed the same day, and shipped out the next Business Day. So if you place an order at 6pm on Wednesday, it will be processed Thursday and ship Friday. If you place an order at 11pm Friday, it will be processed on Monday and ship Tuesday of the following week.
For international customers, this timeline may vary. Our warehouse will group international orders and ship them out in a bundle, usually every 7-10 days. You may receive notice of a shipping label or have your order processing for a few days before you see progress. For specific order questions, you can contact our warehouse directly.
I live in the UK? When will I get my order?
We are currently waiting on the UK government to get back to us on our VAT application, so we are not able to ship orders to the UK at the moment. We do not have an estimate when this will be resolved.
In the interim, you can pick up the Print and Play version of the game here. It is formatted for at-home or professional printing.
If you placed an order before Nov 25, we are doing out best to ship your orders to you directly. If you already placed a physical order and would like a copy of the Print and Play, you can email support@younghorsesgames.com.

I am a retailer/game shop owner/ bookshop owner. How can I order 12+ copies for my establishment?
We've set up an automatic discount for ordering 6-12 copies through Shopify. If you would like to order more than that, send us an email at support@younghorsesgames.com or submit a request through our contact form with your order quantity!
